🎄 Cranberry Orange Holiday Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg, vanilla, and orange zest.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in dried cranberries.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool.
- Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for a festive look.
Tip: For extra flavor, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg to the dough.
